Born in Perth, Western Australia, in 1944, he received a BA from the University of Western Australia. He settled in 1972, in Israel where his main avocation was as a poet. He also wrote limericks. From 1984, he was a member of the Voices Israel Group of Poets in English, and co-editor of their annual magazine, VOICES ISRAEL from 1992 to 2006. Two of his books of poetry are in print: SUNSPOTS AND SUNBEAMS (Tel Aviv, 1996) and LAVA AND LAVENDER (Tel Aviv, 2005). His poems have been published in Israel, America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the United Kingdom. He was a freelance journalist, editor and proofreader. His interests were reading, music, literature, and the company of good friends.
