Proving to be a Smash – That’s Tennis Ace Niv, 13
Niv with his singles runner-up and doubles trophies
Niv Zuckerman, aged 13, of the Raanana Tennis Center, won four matches in the junior singles competition, under 14 category, in Armenia to reach the finals but lost (6.4/6.3) to the top seed on August 6, 2016. Niv and his partner played exceedingly well in the doubles – also reaching the finals but were beaten by the Russian pair (6.2/6.4). Niv is the son of Guy and Ronit Zuckerman, and the grandson of Pat (who compiles ESRA crosswords) and Moshe Zuckerman.
