Friends of ESRA Give Children a Future

David and Beverly Saffrin, for the third consecutive year, generously hosted a Friends of ESRA dinner in their beautiful home. Ambassador Michael Oren MK was the guest speaker for this amazingly successful fundraising event. ESRA's friends gathered together in order to raise funds for ESRA's Give a Child a Future Campaign. Close to NIs 80,000 was the result from the 70 guests who participated. All expenses were covered by sponsorship. ESRA's national projects will be the beneficiary of this evening. ESRA's Co-chairperson, Brenda Katten, welcomed the guests expressing deep appreciation to the host and hostess as well as to the sponsors. She highlighted three major projects – the right track Centers, the Bayit Cham and ESRA's flagship project students build a Community. Ambassador Michael Oren, MK – Israel's former Ambassador to the United States – gave a fascinating historic and personal perspective of the relationship between Israel and the United states enthralling the guests with his knowledge and warm dynamic personality. To the outstanding host and hostess, to the sponsors and to every guest whose friendship and participation resulted in an evening to be remembered both socially and financially - ESRA expresses its thanks. The children and youth whom ESRA supports will benefit greatly as a result of this outstanding event. Friends of ESRA - you are very special!
