Artist Pamela Silver to exhibit in Tel Aviv
Well known Israeli artist, Pamela Silver, will be showing her latest body of works (2008-2013) at the Zaritsky Artists House in Tel Aviv. She has been allotted the entire top floor of Artists House and will present watercolors, oil paintings and works in monotype.
Pamela grew up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and her work draws extensively on her childhood memories of the wide open African vistas with their special hues, the glorious sunsets, and her interactions with the different cultures rooted in the local landscapes. She has been living in Motza Ilit in the Judean Hills for the past 40 years close to nature, the source of her joy and inspiration. Pamela has exhibited widely throughout the world and her art is in the collections of the Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, the Olympic Fine Art Museum Beijing, Ben Uri - the London Jewish Museum of Art, and the Tama Art Museum, Tokyo.
