Sybil Levin (1940 – 2015) was born and raised in the United Kingdom.  In Manchester, for seven years, she worked as the Aliyah Secretary of the Jewish Agency for the North West of England.  Prior to coming to live in Israel in 1979 the Jewish Telegraph wrote: "She sold herself Israel". In Israel Sybil worked for the British Olim Society for many years. Later she worked as a legal secretary for a firm specializing in Intellectual Property Law. She enjoyed making jewelery and writing poetry and short articles - 13 of her articles were published in ESRA Magazine.
