Now retired, she was chairperson and founder of the Katzenelson High School Music Department, and was a founding and active board member of the Kfar Saba Music Foundation. Sima is the co-author of a textbook of Music Theory for High School Students.
Her volunteering experience includes being a consultant for the MAYUMANA School for Stage Arts in Rishon LeZion, Manager of the HaZamir Kfar Saba Choir, and Director of the Adult Folders Association of the Israeli Origami Center. Sima also teaches Origami and country dancing.
