Max Strous made came to live in Israel in April 2013 from South Africa. He lives with his wife Libby in Raanana.
Max is an electrical engineer, specializing in making electric elements.
He held positions of Mayor of Sandton 1997/98 and served on its Management Committee. He was Regional Chairman of the Jewish Board of Deputies, Former President of Sandton Chamber of Commerce, and President of Morningside Rotary Club. He also served on the committees of both the Pine Street Shul and Sandton Shul, and was Chairman of various school boards of Sandton.
