Attorney Kahn was born in New York City. He graduated from the College of Columbia University in 1968 with the degree of Bachelor of the Arts. In 1972, he was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor with honors from The National Law Center of the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

In 1973, while employed by an agency of the U.S. Federal Government, Attorney Kahn was admitted to The District of Columbia Bar. For over 35 years, he has remained a member in good standing thereof.
Following his Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, Attorney Kahn emigrated to Israel. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces, he was admitted to the Bar of the State of Israel on February 28, 1979.
For the past 35 years, Attorney Kahn has been exclusively engaged in private practice. His areas of expertise are (1) multinational estate planning and wealth preservation, (2) resolution of United States Federal Estate Tax and Income Tax issues and (3) Israeli family law
Attorney Kahn has been and remains actively involved in the court room. He has successfully represented his clients at every level of the Israeli Judiciary including the Supreme Court.
Attorney Kahn has served as a committee member for the Israel Bar and has been active in the American Bar Association. In recognition of his exceptional knowledge and professional achievement, he has been granted full membership in The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
