Spotlight on the ESRA Shops

2 second-hand Nearly New Shops in Raanana and Kfar Saba 3 second-hand bookstores in Binyamina, Modiin and Raanana 98 volunteers and coordinators in shops

Ed Wolfe, the superb coordinator of the two ESRA second-hand Nearly New Shops is incredibly committed and effective in his role. Under his leadership over many years, the two shops have become thriving businesses which contribute significantly to ESRA funds which are used productively in our various community projects. The bookshops, so ably run by Cynthia Shapiro in Raanana, Cynthia Barmor and Jackie Klein in Modiin, and Marion Fredman and Judy Rosenblatt in Binyamina, also make a major contribution to funds and give so many volunteers an opportunity to enjoy being part of these endeavors and to provide a service to English and Hebrew readers. Can you image a more WIN-WIN situation?

1. Donate your books, clothing and household wares which are in fine and good condition.

2. Someone out there wants and needs whatever is no longer useful to you.

3. The income generated from the shops is used in our community projects, for scholarships for students, right track centers, sewing centers, and so many more.

We need volunteers in our shops to work as:

■Pick-up/collectors for goods

■Sales assistants

■Sorters Give a few hours of your time each week in an enjoyable and productive environment and know that you are helping to benefit so many in so many ways!
