Trip was Utopia!

Utopia Orchid Park– located at Kibbutz Bahan in the Sharon region, what could be better for an easy, beautiful end of year trip to remember for our Kfar Shmaryahu Social Group.
The day started with a light lunch of sandwiches and drinks to cool everyone down from the summer heat. The tour through the beautiful orchid sanctuary was a sight for sore eyes. It was like roaming through an exotic nature reserve – the sights and sounds of water, the exotic plants, the birds in their summer plumage and the carnivorous plants feasting on insects kept the group gasping and smiling with pleasure. The outside walks under huge floral arches came to a climax with the stunning display of water fountains-and-music in the artificial pond.
The participants and volunteers alike had an outing to remember – a little hot, but well worth the trip.
