This past year has been traumatic for so many reasons – fears of the COVID pandemic, being cut off from family and friends – especially at the holidays - having to wear facial masks and finally going through yet another war. And yet we have survived and are looking forward to a more normal way of life.
And the Tel Aviv branch of the Knitting/Crochet group have pulled out all the stops and continued working from home when we couldn't actually meet up in person. Came last winter and as usual we were able to hand over a supply of sweaters, hats, scarves and ponchos, to needy children like any other year and for that I thank everyone.
For the first time since last March, we have been very lucky to be allowed to meet every Thursday morning at Beit Mashon in Ramat Aviv. If there are any knitters / crochet workers with some time on their hands, why not come and join us for a chat, cup of tea / coffee, and at the same time create warm items for children in need.
