The Neot Shaked community in Netanya attended and enjoyed the Pre-Passover happening that the students in the Students Build a Community Program organized in the neighborhood.

The event took place in close cooperation with The Green Network, which works closely with ESRA in the Netanya communities, providing ideas and examples in environmental care. For example, at some of the 'stations' of the happening, the residents created artworks from recycled materials, ate traditional and ethnic food (without the use of paper plates!), and were able to choose clothes, shoes and games from the second hand give-and-take bazaar managed by 9th graders of the ORT-Guttman School, which also took part in the happening.

In addition, the tug-of-war competition, the hair braiding, table-braiding and fun dancing filled the street with color, enthusiasm and energy: "Spring is here!" declared the Neot Shaked neighborhood.
