Some weeks ago we felt we wanted to do something to lift the spirits of the soldiers fighting in Gaza. The project started in my daughter Yuval's kindergarten in Raanana and spread quickly to more kindergartens in the Sharon area, Tel Aviv and other cities. The kids made drawings and wrote blessings which the soldiers placed on their tanks. Individuals and businesses made donations of food, toiletries, clothing and anything the soldiers needed. People just wanted to give and help in any way they could.

ONE of the messages from children to the soldiers . . . 'To the brave soldiers, our blessings, that you should succeed in everything and return with the air force, that everything be good for you, and that you be heroes like tigers. 'Look after yourselves and return home safe'.
