Hanukkah miracles can occur anywhere and in many forms. This richly illustrated children's book depicts the poor Small family, whose dad is bestowed a magic potato by a stranger on his way home from work, to celebrate Hanukkah.
The events which follow are warm and tasty for the Small family but also unexpected and hair-raising for mom and dad.
With fire-fighters, helicopters and the entire community, the outcome is people-binding and rewarding for all.
Our grandson, his parents and we ourselves, all loved this story.
